After a month and a half and a fantastic reader response, PalmBeachIllustrated.com has tallied the votes for Palm Beach County’s best coffee house. After an overwhelming response, Havana of West Palm Beach has taken top billing with A Latte Fun of Palm Beach Gardens coming in a close second, and The Breakers News & Gourmet rounding out at third.

Havana, located on the corner of South Dixie and Forest Hill has been serving one of the best café con leches in town since 1993. Havana is a bit of an anomaly, a full-service Cuban restaurant with a 24-hour walk-up window, where the scents of authentic Cuban

cuisine waft out any hour of the day or night. And serving the full restaurant menu from the walk-up window around the clock, it always caters to the craving for a Pan con Bistec or Flan de Caramelo.

The reason of the resounding first place victory? It probably has a lot to do with the three delicious coffees Havana serves: Café Cubano, café con leche and cappuccino. A personal favorite, the café con leche is frothy and sweet, and will make a believer out of anyone.

Congratulations to Havana restaurant for winning the PalmBeachIllustrated.com reader poll for best coffee house in Palm Beach County. And a special thanks to all our readers who took the time to vote for their favorite coffee spot. Keep an eye out for future reader polls.
